The 18th century was marked by the construction of numerous palaces in St. Petersburg, most of which preserved till our times. Taking St. Petersburg tours you will see some of the palaces were turned into museums, such as the Winter Palace, the others into hotels, but the architectural style of the 18th century was preserved.

Different kinds of Russia tours are organized to the most famous palaces in St. Petersburg, such as the Peterhof and the Yusupov Palace, each of which is really magnificent.

The Yusupov Place represents a mixture of architectural styles and décor, as every epoch had its own impact on this wonderful palace. The rooms of the palace are decorated with taste and are very luxurious, as the palace belonged to Prince N. Yusupov, who was one of the richest person in the whole Empire.

Peterhof is the most beautiful palace in St. Petersburg. It belonged to Russian tsar Peter the Great. A lot of Russian cruise goes through this sight. This palace is also called “Russian Versailles” for its wonderful and luxurious décor and wonderful gardens, designed in French fashion.
